Charging Cards & Production Pics

Hey YoBackers,

Just a quick one. I will be charging your cards in BackerKit tomorrow (April 5th), so please make sure all your details are correct and you have sufficient funds :)

I'd like to thank those of you that have completed your survey already, and if you haven't and you cannot find your emails from BackerKit please go to https://yoback.backerkit.com/ and enter your email. I am sending the shipping list to our fulfilment centre this week to prep for delivery.

Production Update

Things are ramping up on our end! We have maybe around 10 days or so (hopefully!) until production is complete so if all goes well some of you should start getting your YoBack's before the month's out!

Hey YoBackers!

I hope you are all well and looking forward to receiving your YoBack, it's getting close now! There is a lot of information in this update so please read carefully :)

Shipping Prices Added To BackerKit

Thanks for being patient about the adding of shipping prices. The good news is that we have seen a decrease in some of the shipping rates since our campaign started, but a few places have increased slightly due to the oil situation. These are absolutely the best possible prices we can find and I assure you we spent a long time talking to many companies.  The prices do not include any customs or duties taxes due to the variations in tax rates and pledge levels. 

Please complete the BackerKit survey if you haven't already and double-check that your address, pledge level and add ons are correct ASAP. If you have forgotten/lost your survey you can go to this link, enter your email and get a new survey sent https://yoback.backerkit.com/ 

Orders will be locked on March 28th and your cards will be charged on April 4th. You will receive a 48-hour notice email from BackerKit reminding you of both the lock date and the charge cards date. Any delay in payment/shipping details could lead to a delay in getting your YoBack :(

Production Update

Now for the important stuff! After several rounds of testing, we have perfected the connection of the YoBack and the YoBack wheel and YoFeet are in production. The YoSling's and hemp bags have already been made. 

We had to adjust the YoFeets mold slightly to fit the YoBack, which has put us slightly behind schedule. I am absolutely committed to getting the YoBacks to you in April, I always wanted to be one of the few campaigns that delivered on time. However it seems we might struggle to get all YoBacks to you in April, but they should arrive in early May. We will push the factory to complete everything ASAP and of course, I will keep you updated but most countries will have a delivery time of 8-20 days so May is looking most likely for the majority of you. It is also important to note that parts of China are now back in lockdown, and while we don't expect a delay currently, the situation could change overnight. I will of course keep you updated if we are affected.

We have completed an ebook with around 50 different exercises that you can do with the YoBack and I am in the process of recording video tutorials for each exercise. This is a working ebook and once you get the YoBacks we can add to it and constantly update it with new exercises/videos as you discover new ways to use it.

If you haven't done so already, please join our private FB group for backers. Once we get closer to shipping I will be doing a few FB live videos to show you how to use the wheel and answer any questions you may have in real-time.

Production Update

Hey YoBackers!

Thanks for being patient whilst we are busy behind the scenes getting everything ready. So far everything is ticking along nicely with nothing major to relay. We have just come out of Chinese New Year and so the factories are either still closed or only just opening up.

Shipping Update

We have a couple of shipping partners that we are in further discussions with and we are expecting to have the prices finalised in the next week or two. I will update you all as soon as we have those prices locked in. Once the prices are in you'll have only a two week period to confirm and purchase any add-ons before we lock the orders ready for fulfilment.

Manufacturing Update

The hemp carry bags and cork mats are finished and have been sent to our main factory ready to be assembled and packed. The YoSling bag is being made after the New Years holiday. 

The YoBack itself is currently going through a couple of test production runs. We received 10 samples this week and they look great but it needs some tweaking. This is nothing to be concerned about and is common when doing injection molding as there are often a few rounds of testing to get it right. We are starting the next test run early next week so I should receive them around the last week of Feb if not earlier.

I hope that by the time I send our next update with shipping prices then I can show some images of the final completed YoBack.

Happy New Year! - BackerKit surveys are coming this week.

Happy New Year YoBackers!,

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. Let's hope that in 2022 we can have some normality back! 

Backerkit survey

In the next few days, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s essential to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. The deadline for completing this survey is Jan 23rd.

You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available in the coming days via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, shipping fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers for shipping a month or so before fulfillment when we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers rewards. We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey. The shipping fee you will see on your survey now will not be the final amount, and will be updated at a later date. We will keep you informed all along the way!

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under “Lost your survey?” on our BackerKit project page at https://yoback.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://yoback.backerkit.com/faq.

After surveys are sent, and you did not receive the email, and you Signed in with Apple through Kickstarter, your email address might be a private relay email address. We can help locate your survey and update your email address, please message us through Kickstarter with your Backer ID # found on your Kickstarter confirmation. You can learn more about your email hiding for your Apple ID here.

Once it arrives please complete the survey asap, the deadline is January 23rd so it is ready before Chinese New Year. We anticipate giving shipping prices by the end of February but hopefully earlier. 

 Production Update

Everything is on schedule so far. We should be starting production this week or early next week. The production time is around 45 days but we have the Chinese New Year at the end of Jan, where the factories are closed for around 2-3 weeks.  We factored this into our shipping date so it's not a surprise. I'll do an update again once I have some images/ videos from production.

Thank you all so very much! We are overwhelmed by your support! You have made our dream a reality and we can’t wait to repay your faith in us. 

A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment.

First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds so we have the money to make the rewards (this can take up to two weeks). We are ready to start production as soon as the funds are in our account.

Second, we’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect more information from you about where you would like to us to ship the YoBack to.

We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards. Our ability to make an order depends on receiving this information.
