I signed up to be a VIP but didn't get a chance to get my reward, can I still get it?

Absolutely! We’re honoring all VIP pricing. Kickstarter makes this hard to do during the campaign but if a VIP backs any other reward tier (for example the early bird $89 option) we will reimburse the difference after the campaign ends.

What stage of development is the YoBack at currently?

All the images and videos you see are of real, functioning units made by a large manufacturer. We have the mold and product prices from the manufacturer ready and all we’re waiting on are the funds to get started!

Is there any type of warranty?

We’re offering a thirty day money back guarantee to all our backers as well as a one year warranty on any manufacturing defects. We reserve the right to determine whether a product is defective or damaged through normal wear and tear and used as intended and we require proof of purchase in your name for all claims. We can only take returns for manufacturer defects.

Why is shipping being charged at a later date?

As you may well be aware, shipping all around the world is at its highest ever due to COVID-19. We are also heading into the holiday season, so the prices we can get today are not accurate for when we will be shipping in early 2022. By providing estimates we can give you a rough idea of the costs that we have in hand now and hopefully avoid any major surprises later on. This helps us to provide you with the best value possible and is now becoming a regular part of Kickstarter campaigns.

Why aren’t you doing worldwide shipping?

As mentioned above, with shipping prices being what they are our main focus is to provide a quality product without delays and extortionate prices for you the backer. If you are interested in getting the YoBack and you are not from the countries listed please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “international shipping- YOUR COUNTRY” and you’ll be added to our mailing list and contacted once we go into e-commerce.

Can the Yoback replace physical therapy?

It is always recommended to speak with a healthcare professional as everyone’s situation is different. The YoBack can certainly be used as part of your physical therapy. We will provide you with plenty of videos and tutorials on how it can be used once your receive your YoBack.

Will the YoBack break when I lie on it? How strong is it?

The YoBack has been compression tested to have a breakpoint of 251.7kg (554lbs).

How long should I use it for each time?

We recommend starting with using it between 5-10minutes a day for the first 30 days, simply choose a time and place that works for you.

Once I get the YoBack, how should I use it?

We recommend starting with the 1 or 2 YoBlocks for your spine and building up from there to using the full YoBack. The YoBack will come with plenty of exercises to suit everyone’s needs. The versatility of the YoBack means that there’s going to be an exercise to fit you!

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
